Student Organizations are groups of students that meet regularly on the basis of a set of shared interests and goals.
Student organizations
- plan activities for its members,
- provide services and education for their respective school communities, and
- hold demonstrations to show support for its issues.
These groups are often called clubs to emphasize the social nature of shared interests, which contrasts to organizations, emphasizing the political nature of shared goals.
Student Organizations usually work within the framework of the larger school administrative structures and receive funding from the Student Government
