Macalester/Environmental Funk!

E-Funk! (Macalester's Environmental-Funk!) is a group dedicated to a holistic approach to viewing and interacting with the environment. We seek to allign ourselves with other groups, individuals, and movements "fighting" agaisnt environmental racism, sexism, ablism, and the general degradation of the environment at the expense of those who are not currently holding power.
We have learned so much from: Student Environmental Action Coalition, Ewuare Osayande, and many others!!
Meetings are held at 9pm in the Macalester College Campus Center Room 205. Our next meeting will be in January 2006.
E-Funk! is a student led organization promoting a holistic view of the environment and sustainability on campus by holding the Macalester administration accountable for the Talloires Declaration. E-Funk! builds coalitions to further the causes of environmental justice and fight issues such as environmental racism both on campus and in our larger community through awareness raising activities.
