The Bateman Plaza is a space in front of the Campus Center at Macalester College. It is one of the main human hubs on campus.

On sunny days there are ten sets of metal tables and chairs where students hang out, which are removed during rainy/snowy days.

Groups occassionally perform in this space, in coordination with Campus Programs

Student organizations organizing a petition drive or any form of outreach, station themselves either at the doors of the Campus Center (there are four three doors) outside during lunch time (during lunch time, the lobby inside is overcrowded) or canvass on an 8 foot table to the south corner of the bateman plaza, because this is THE place where students can be caught in between meals and classes.
