The Mac Weekly is Macalester College's student-run newspaper, first printed in 1914. It is published weekly on Fridays. Submissions are due the previous Tuesday at 10pm, and the paper goes to press Thursday.

A Mac Weekly tradition is the "Moc Weekly," a (sometimes) humorous parody of campus news produced about once per semester. The Weekly has a budget of about $6,000 per semester (Fall 2005).

In the spring of 2006, the Mac Weekly came out with its first Mac Weekly Magazine, a now semester-ly publication with longer, in-depth articles written by students.
