1. fixed some menu links don't seem to work. replaced Category: by :Category: which fixed some, but calendar/processes still don't work (link to main page instread)

   ruunning refreshLinks.php as indicated in maintenance recommn [1] seems to fix some (not all, still Category:Calendar link doesn't work)

   upgrade to 1.4.4 seems to have fixed this problem

2. fixed there's some weird caching problem, after editing changes not immediately reflected unless force-refreshed (F5)

   for logged in users, disabling cache at "preferences -> misc -> disable" works, seeking permanent fixture

   gah! found this: $wgCachePages = false; # Allow client-side caching of pages

   (something i'm not sure if I should submit to http://bugzilla.wikimedia.org ) I moved to http://bluehost.com and installed the 1.4.4 from a previous 1.4.4 in o3hosting.com The edits are not displayed (although they are saved & shown in the edit screen later on), because of cache. I deactivated the cache by inserting $wgCachePages = false; in LocalSettings.php, which solved the problem, but I'm just concerned that it worked with my former host and now it doesn't. SHould I edit something under php.ini? Is it a 1.4.4 bug? Problem occurs with both FireFox and IE.
