  • Should go w/ cheapest option for now, then join credit union later

(monthly fees will eat all our money quickly, can get no monthly fee w/ 501c3 status

  • Should get 501(c)3 status as soon as possible
  • Fundraiser

    • advertising-Pulse, CityPages, posters, emails, facebook, set up

MySpace? (didn't talk about this one, just an idea), other co-ops, potential residents, activists, profs, Jim Hoppe, Tim Welna, David Wheaton, special effort to talk to people of color- not reproducing phenomena of co-ops as a white, privileged movement if possible, IWW folks, everyone!

  • meeting w/ David Wheaton, presentation, ask to rent Vernon hse.
  • talk to Tom Welna this week
  • Create housing application to have at fundraiser
    • questions:
      • Do you agree with our values?
      • What is an ideal living situation for you?
      • Will you do your share of the work needed to keep the house running?

      • Why are you interested in living in the co-op?
      • Tell us a funny joke?
      • What kind of activist projects and groups are you involved with?
        • etc.

  • Open Bank Acct w/ EIN- DAVID
  • Make poster, blurb, email for fundraiser- JAKE
  • Tues. 9pm- meet to plan presentation to David Wheaton, check-in
