The Independent Study Collective was one project established by and structured within Think Outside the Tank.
It allowed students to approach questions of activism, education, democracy, etc. from an academic perspective, recieving academic credit for their work. Throughout the semester (Fall '05), students were to report back to Think Outside the Tank and to the larger Macalester community.
