Howard Sinker

Howard Sinker is State/Enterprise editor at the Star Tribune, where he coordinates coverage of outstate Minnesota, medicine, the environment and aging. A former sports reporter (high school/small college/features -- 1979-83 and Minnesota Twins -- 1983-87), Sinker has been a news editor since 1996. He is an adjunct member of the Humanities faculty at Macalester College in St. Paul and is a sports commentator for Minnesota Public Radio, where he teams up with Gary Eichten on Midday. He is a 1978 graduate of Macalester.
