¡Adelante! Officers

¡Adelante! runs in two teams. The Executive Board brainstorms together with members to bring consistent positions that ¡Adelante! takes in order to materialize its organizational goals. The Assistant Team organizes events targetted at the Macalester and Twin Cities community, reflecting this philosophy.
The Executive Board constists of:
- Adelante/Co-Chairs, who work closely with the Issues Coordinators to envision ways to close the gap between U.S. Latino and Chicano students and Latin American students, and help set future directions for ¡Adelante!;
- Issues Coordinators (U.S. Latin@ Chican@ Issues Coordinator and Latin American Issues Coordinator), who oversee ¡Adelante!'s involvement with both sides of Latin@ interests in terms of academic life, organizing meetings, and advising the Latino Heritage Month Coordinator;
- Adelante/Senior Adviser, who informs the Executive Board of the overall history of ¡Adelante! with the goal of aiding consistent strategic directions, and connects members of the Latin@ community outside Macalester with ¡Adelante! members.
The Assistant Team consists of:
- Latino Heritage Month Coordinator, who oversees the planning and execution of Latino Heritage Month, aids the formation of Event Committees, and spends the rest of the year paving the way for the next Heritage Month in cooperation with the Department of Multicultural Life and other Cultural Organizations;
- Operations Assistant, who deals with the bureaucratic processes of college event planning and coordinates communication between Event Committees;
- Adelante/Treasurer, who is responsible for financial transactions;
- Adelante/Co-Secretaries, who take minutes and keep records of the activities;
- Adelante/Public Relations Officer, who organizes volunteers to create publicity.
